不必要になったサーバーに関して、EC2インスタンスを削除後、EIPも開放しようとしたところ以下のエラー。
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: The address with allocation id [eipalloc-aaaaaaaaaa] cannot be released because it is locked to your account. Please contact AWS Support to unlock it.
ロックされて削除出来ないので、サポートに連絡してね。とのこと。
原因
逆引き設定を依頼していたことにより、アカウントにEIPがロックされている状態になっているようでした。
不必要となった場合には、以下リンクへアクセス
Request to Remove Email Sending Limitations
こちらからアカウントのアドレスを入力し、削除の依頼を送る必要があります。
